| I Need Thee Every Hour I need Thee every hourMost gracious Lord
 No tender voice like Thine
 Can peace afford
I need Thee, oh I need TheeEvery hour I need Thee
 Oh bless me now
My Savior, I come to Thee
I need Thee every hourStay Thou nearby
 Tempations lose their power
 When Thou are nigh
I need Thee, oh I need TheeI need Thee, oh I need Thee
I need Thee, oh I need Thee
 Oh bless me now
 My Savior
I need Thee every hourMost Holy Lord
 Oh make me thine indeed
 Thou blessed Son.
I need Thee, oh I need TheeEvery hour I need Thee
 Oh bless me now
My Savior, I come to Thee
Oh bless me now my Savior,I come to Thee.

                                | Kurt Bestor is a talented composer-arranger, as well as a friend of mine.   I heard Kurt’s arrangement of “I Need Thee Every Hour” with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sometime ago – and it has always stayed with me.  Here is presented an “arrangement” of that arrangement.  Annie Hawks, the author, writes of the song’s creation:  “One day as a young wife and mother of 37 years of age, I was busy with my regular household tasks.  Suddenly, I became so filled with the sense of nearness to the Master that, wondering how one could live without Him, either in joy or pain, these words, “I Need Thee Every Hour” were ushered into my mind, the thought at once taking full possession of me”.
From one devout mother to another, as we raise children in our current world, we do “Need Him Every Hour.”  I hope that Annie would be pleased and moved by the spirit of humility we sought for in our recording of her lyrics. – Marie Osmond
